OCR: Protected PDFs
It is impossible for the OCR service to OCR PDFs that are password protected. As a result, some PDFs were stuck at the OCR service while they should be returned to the production environment with the message that OCRing was not possible. In this release, we have captured these types of secured PDFs so that they are at least returned to the Onventis Workflows environment.
Performance: Search by invoice number
Searching for an invoice number within Onventis Workflows took a lot of time, especially if you just typed in a number of digits, for example, which could produce a lot of results. We’ve improved the performance of this part a lot, making it several times faster.
Monitoring
A lot of attention and time was spent on optimizing internal monitoring. Based on the available data, we can detect all kinds of issues very proactively and follow them up immediately. It is important to be at the forefront of this, to ensure that there can be little to no disruptions and/or delays on the platform. We have therefore added new ways in which we do this on a daily basis, to make the impact even smaller should something unplanned occur.
Other
The ability to more easily view, create and modify APIs has been established in this release. Our consultants can now work with this in an advanced way. In addition, we have made new steps in the technical integration of the Onventis CORE platform with respect to the OCR service that is now shared by the entire platform.
