System requirements for using the Onventis applications

All applications in the Onventis Open Procurement Network can generally be accessed from any computer with an internet connection.

In order to provide our customers with the most modern user experience, we rely on the latest web technologies and therefore support the desktop variants of the current stable major versions* of the following web browsers:

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Apple Safari
• Microsoft Edge

* The current stable major version of the browser is defined by the browser vendor.

The mobile versions of the above-mentioned browsers are currently not supported.
Please consider using the Onventis Mobile App on iOS or Android devices instead.

Some browsers offer automatic updates. Onventis makes every effort to test and support the current stable versions of these browsers.

In general, major versions of browsers whose release dates back more than two years are not supported.

In order to use the Onventis applications, support for JavaScript, cookies and SSL/TLS must be activated in all browsers. The Onventis applications can only be accessed via HTTPS.

Please note that the use of ad blockers and other browser plug-ins may interfere with the behaviour of the web applications and lead to unexpected behaviour. Should you encounter unexpected behaviour or errors when using the Onventis applications, we recommend deactivating these plugins.

Please note that the support of various browsers and their versions in third-party applications or punchout shops connected to the Onventis Open Procurement Network is the responsibility of the respective operator or vendor.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 11

Support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 across the Onventis Open Procurement Network is going to be retired on June 30, 2020. Find more information here.

The Onventis Mobile app can be used on the following operating systems and devices:

• Apple iPhone and iPad running iOS 11.0 or iPadOS 13.0 or higher
• Google Android devices* running Android 6.0 or higher

* Onventis Mobile supports a variety of Android smartphones and tablets.
Please check the Google Play Store to see if your device is supported by Onventis Mobile.

To use the Onventis SAP interfaces in older SAP ERP/ECC systems, the following release level (or newer) is required:

• SAP Netweaver 7.4
• SAP Basis Release 740
• ERP 6.0 with SAP_APPL 617 and Support Package 0010
• EHP 7 with Support Package 0012

For current SAP S/4 HANA systems, the following system requirements (or newer) need to be met:

• S4HANA OnPremise or Private Cloud Release 1909
• SAP Basis Release 754
• ABAP Platform Release 1909
