1. Onventis Invoice Processing 2022.1

Onventis Invoice Processing 2022.1

Release date: March 12, 2022

Document Jobworker

Onventis offers the ability to import multiple invoice documents simultaneously. Since the volume is continuously increasing, we have made an improvement in our so-called jobworker. This worker is responsible for the speed and stability of document import. With this improvement, it is now even possible to import hundreds of invoice documents simultaneously without crashing the system or skipping documents.

Sender e-mail

If an email is sent from the Onventis application you will normally see the email address “noreply@onventis.de” as the sender. This has now been changed to “noreply@onventis.nl”. In addition to being a more logical email address, it also helps more emails arrive successfully, as they get through any spam filter more easily.

Improvements to billing record

In this release, improvements have been made regarding the generation of invoice images. On the right side of the screen in a user’s archive or work list, the first page of a linked document is displayed. In order to generate this invoice picture on the basis of the invoice document, we are now using new technology. This ensures that the image can be made successful more often and thus be visible despite the presence of a special character in the document name, for example.

OCR status on error

If you send an invoice to the OCR for recognition, you can always track its status by hovering over the bullet in the work list. Thus, a tooltip appears containing a status message, for example: Delivered to OCR or Ready for Encoding. If something goes wrong when delivering the invoice to OCR, you will see the message Error occurred during delivery to OCR. However, it does not specify what and/or why something went wrong. This will be indicated in the same place as of this release, though.

Security

In this release, Onventis paid attention to the security of the platform. For example, with regard to the Interface, improvements have been made so that we are ahead of the market in terms of safety.
