Onventis Invoice Processing 2026.2

Beta release date: Saturday, February 21, 2026

Release date: Saturday, March 7, 2026

Release 2026.4 is planned for (Beta) and (Production).

🚀 Introduction

This release focuses primarily on enhancing approval workflows and user assignment, enabling even stronger alignment with internal approval policies and governance requirements.

👤Configurable Pre-Selection in User Assignment

The user assignment window can now be configured to prevent automatic pre-selection of approvers. This ensures that no user is selected by default, helping to avoid accidental assignments and giving you full control over who is responsible for approval. By reducing the risk of misassignment, this enhancement increases accuracy and strengthens confidence in your approval workflows.

Customer-specific setup and adjustments are required to use this feature.

👤Extended Approval Flows on Line Level

Approval processes can now be defined at invoice line level, allowing different users or approver groups to be assigned to specific lines within the same invoice — with an unlimited number of approval steps. This provides maximum flexibility to reflect even complex internal approval policies. Each line is reviewed by the right responsible person, strengthening control while keeping invoice processing efficient and streamlined.

Customer-specific setup and adjustments are required to use this feature.

🚀 Multi accounting: Manual linking of purchase invoices now carries over multi-accounting details

When manually linking a purchase invoice to a purchase order, the associated multi-accounting details are now automatically applied to the invoice line. Cost centers, asset numbers, quantities, and multiple accounting distributions are copied directly from the order, ensuring consistency and saving manual effort.

Customer-specific setup and adjustments are required to use this feature.

✍️Display of Digital Signatures in Document Viewer

Digital signatures in PDF documents are now fully visible in the document viewer.

Previously, embedded signatures were not displayed, which could cause uncertainty during document review. With this update and technical component upgrades, signatures are now shown reliably and transparently.

This enhancement increases trust and clarity when working with digitally signed documents.

🛡️Deactivation of Legacy TLS Ciphers

To meet the latest security standards, the following TLS ciphers will be deactivated:

  • TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256

  • TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA384

This change may affect certain integrations. Impacted customers have been informed separately.
We recommend testing your interfaces in the test environment to ensure continued secure connectivity and avoid disruptions.
